COMPETITION EVENTS

400 of the top athletes in the United States will come to Kansas City to compete for U.S. titles over 9 days of competition. The U.S. Championships will feature competition in five levels (juvenile, intermediate, novice, junior and senior) and in all four disciplines of the sport: Men, Ladies, Pairs and Ice Dance.

Crown Center Ice Terrace Outdoor Ice Skating Rink
Two sessions available:
9:30 – 10:15 a.m. AND 10:15 – 11 a.m.

The first 40 people to register for each SkateFest session will receive two
complimentary tickets to the U.S. Championships Smucker’s Skating
Spectacular taking place at Sprint Center on Sunday, January 22!

Registration opens at 3:00 p.m. CT Jan. 5.

Happy Hour with Brian Boitano

Join 1988 Olympic champion Brian Boitano for a special U.S. Championships Happy Hour at Cleaver & Cork. Brian will be mixing his special KC Gold cocktail (among other food and drink specials) and will be available for autographs and photos! This event is open to the public.

Join Brian after Happy Hour to watch the championship men’s short program competition at the 2017 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships at Sprint Center! The first 50 Happy Hour guests will receive a complimentary pair of tickets to the men’s short program (7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20 at Sprint Center)!
